CKF was founded to respond to the growing need for structured support for rural MSMEs in Kenya, following the success of Fashion on the Road (FOTR), which trained rural artisans and connected them to urban markets.
FOTR revealed challenges that extended beyond specific industries—many MSMEs lacked access to essential services, including capacity-building, financial empowerment, and market access.
Our Purpose: CKF was established to address these gaps by offering comprehensive MSME development programs aimed at building sustainable businesses within Kenya’s underserved communities.
The Carole Kinoti Foundation is set to make a lasting impact on the lives of marginalized communities in Kenya. Through its programs, the foundation will empower individuals by providing vocational training, fostering sustainable fashion, and creating pathways for economic independence.
By focusing on education, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, the foundation aims to address systemic challenges and create long-term solutions. The impact will be felt for generations, as individuals will not only gain skills but also opportunities to improve their livelihoods and contribute positively to society.
This initiative represents more than just charity; it is about transforming lives and building a sustainable future for everyone involved.
